Slow down you crazy child
You're so ambitious for a juvenile
But then if you're so smart tell me why
You are still so afraid?

Where's the fire, what's the hurry about?
You better cool it off before you burn it out
You got so much to do and only
so many hours in a day

But you know that when the truth is told
That you can get what you want
Or you an just get old
You're gonna kick off before you even get halfway through
When will you realize...Vienna waits for you

Slow down you're doing fine
You can't be everything you want to be
Before your time
Although it's so romantic on the borderline tonight
Too bad but it's the life you lead
You're so ahead of yourself
That you forgot what you need
Though you can see when you're wrong
But you know you can't always see when you're right

You got your passion you got your pride
But don't you know only fools are satisfied?
Dream on but don't imagine they'll all come true
When will you realize
Vienna waits for you

Slow down you crazy child
Take the phone off the hook
And disappear for a while
It's alright you can afford to lose a day or two
When will you realize...
Vienna waits for you.

"Provide, Provide" by Robert Frost
The witch that came (the withered hag)
To wash the steps with pail and rag,
Was once the beauty Abishag,

The picture pride of Hollywood.
Too many fall from great and good
For you to doubt the likelihood.

Die early and avoid the fate.
Or if predestined to die late,
Make up your mind to die in state.

Make the whole stock exchange your own!
If need be occupy a throne,
Where nobody can call you crone.

Some have relied on what they knew;
Others on simply being true.
What worked for them might work for you.

No memory of having starred
Atones for later disregard,
Or keeps the end from being hard.

Better to go down dignified
With boughten friendship at your side
Than none at all. Provide, provide!

Yesterday was Paul McCartney's 64th birthday.

You Are Big Bird
Talented, smart, and friendly... you're also one of the sanest people around.

You are usually feeling: Happy. From riding a unicycle to writing poetry, you have plenty of hobbies to keep you busy.

You are famous for: Being a friend to everyone. Even the grumpiest person gets along with you.

How you life your life: Joyfully. "Super. Duper. Flooper."

                             Accurate?

Well, State was fun. I didn't win anything, but that's okay because Elissa beat out the amazing girl that wins everything...I mean, because winning isn't important anyways. Now some lyrics.

"The answers are getting harder and harder
And there ain't no way to bargain or to barter
But if you've got the angst or the ardor
You might faint from the fight but you're gonna find it
For every challenge could have paradise behind it
And if you accept what you have lost and you stand tall
You might just get it back and you can get it all
So now you know why it's a long way to fall
Yeah cause it's a long way to fall "
                        -Stand by Blues Traveler

Anyway, more importantly, tomorrow is the apocalypse. I feel that if there is anything important to xanga about, that must be it. If no one else, my first period has waited for it all year. It's been good, guys.

Well, I hate to be a downer, especially after my last entry, which was pretty absolutely awesome. But the times come.

Dear writers of the movie X-Men 3,
For some time now I have looked forward to congratulating you on another fantastic movie, an incredible and perfect finale to a trilogy that cannot be touched by other...trilogy-makers. However, due to your considerable lack of good plot content/character developement/actual acting (coughJEANGREYcough)/de-mutilization of certain mutants in the said movie, I must say that no congratulations are to be rewarded. Good luck on fixing this horrendous blow to pop culture.

Dear whoever would be in control of this issue,
My TV Guide channel is gone. Though I really hardly ever watch TV, I must say that TV Guide and I are good friends, and I don't know what to do now that there are no absolutely cheesy shows on it to be disgusted with as I search for my channels. Looking for the newspaper listings is too difficult, and I want my TV Guide back. Thank you.

Well, I hope everyone's having a great summer. I know I am, and after church I think I'm going to watch the other two X-men movies and try to forget about the fact that they are leading to an absolutely abominable ending.
